Education Projects
We run a number of projects and they are all aimed at empowering African young people
Mentorship
The link between the students and opportunitiesAfri-Scholar Base is actively mentoring African students in America by providing guidance on academic success, career development, and cultural adaptation. Through one-on-one support, networking opportunities, and skill-building workshops, we are helping students navigate challenges and maximize their potential. We also assist with resume building, internship placements, scholarship opportunities, and adjusting to the U.S. education system.
Additionally, our mentorship program fosters a sense of community, connecting students with experienced professionals and fellow African scholars to ensure they feel supported throughout their journey. Our strong support system is empowering African students to thrive both academically and professionally in their new environment
Housing & Orientation
We understand the challenges international students face when finding housing in the USA, and we are here to support them.
We provide assistance by offering temporary housing upon arrival, guidance on transportation, and orientation on essential services, including groceries, banks, and public transit. Additionally, many international students struggle with understanding healthcare systems and setting up phone plans. We also provide support in navigating these essential services to ensure a smooth transition.
